Knoydart Wild Camping Expedition from Kinloch Hourn

A Remote Journey Through Scotland’s Last Great Wilderness

Step into one of the most remote and spectacular landscapes in the UK on this guided Knoydart wild camping expedition from Kinloch Hourn. Beginning in the Northwest Highlands, you’ll travel on foot through rugged mountain passes, vast glens and sections of wild coastline as you journey towards Britain’s most isolated mainland peninsula. With no road access and few signs of modern life, Knoydart offers a rare chance to experience true wilderness travel, far from crowds and civilisation.

Over several days, you’ll wild camp in carefully chosen, secluded locations, carrying everything you need as part of a small, supported group. Days are shaped by the terrain, weather and the rhythm of the landscape, while evenings are spent pitching camp beneath wide Highland skies. Led by experienced Mountain Leaders, this expedition is about more than reaching a destination — it’s about moving slowly, responsibly and fully immersed in one of Scotland’s last great wild places.
