Lake District Adventures
Guided Lake District weekends for people who want more than a standard day walk — from supported summit wild camps to classic ridge weekends with your own pub, inn or B&B stop between days.
Start hereStart with Helvellyn & Red Tarn
If you want your first Lake District wild camp, Helvellyn & Red Tarn is the clearest place to begin. It has iconic Lakeland terrain, a strong mountain atmosphere and a manageable 2-day format with key camping systems supported.
Prefer not to camp? Choose one of the classic ridge weekends instead. You still get two quality guided mountain days, but you arrange your own hard-roof accommodation between them.
The Lakes, two ways
These 2-day Lake District adventures sit between a simple guided walk and a bigger expedition. Choose a summit wild camp if you want the full overnight mountain experience, or choose a classic ridge weekend if you want two big guided days without carrying camping kit.
Summit wild camps
Carry overnight kit, set camp high in the fells and experience the Lake District beyond the normal day-walking rhythm.
Classic ridges
Two guided mountain days linked by your own pub, inn or B&B stop. No camping kit, but still a proper weekend in the fells.
Small-group leadership
Calm pacing, route decisions based on conditions and experienced mountain leadership throughout the weekend.
Summit wild camps
Choose these if you want the full overnight mountain experience. We focus on good mountain lines, strong camp locations and a manageable introduction to carrying overnight kit. Shelter systems and stove support are part of the setup.
