These are non-winter Mountain Skills courses designed to help you travel confidently in the hills — from the fundamentals of staying found, to smoother movement on steep ground and better route choice. All options start on a Saturday.

Ideal for building strong foundations and confidence on varied Lakeland ground — with plenty of coaching time, practical navigation, and route-choice support.
Cairngorms Mountain Skills
The Cairngorms are perfect for developing calm, reliable navigation and judgement in spacious terrain — skills that translate directly to every mountain day you do.
