Lake District Adventures
Guided Lake District adventures for people who want more than a crowded day walk — from summit wild camps with supplied mountain shelter kit to classic 2-day ridge weekends with your own pub or B&B stop between days.
Choose your tripThe Lakes, two ways
This hub brings together our Lake District 2-day trips in two clear formats. The first is our guided summit wild camping trips, where the aim is a proper overnight mountain experience with shelter systems and stove support available. The second is our classic ridge weekends: two big mountain days linked by a night under a hard roof of your choosing.
Both styles keep the same Peak Adventures approach: small groups, calm leadership, good decision-making and routes chosen for quality rather than box-ticking. Pick the trip that matches how you want to experience the fells.
Summit wild camps
These are guided overnight mountain journeys with a genuine wild camp feel. We focus on good mountain lines, strong camp locations and a manageable introduction to carrying overnight kit. Shelter systems and stove support are part of the setup for these trips.
Helvellyn & Red Tarn
A classic Lakeland line with Striding Edge and a high mountain overnight feel. This is a strong first step into guided wild camping in one of the District’s best-known settings.

A 2-day journey aimed at England’s highest mountain, with a more committing feel than a standard out-and-back day. Built for people wanting a memorable summit-focused overnight.
View adventure →The Back of Beyond
A quieter Northern Fells journey with more space, less footfall and a stronger sense of remoteness. Well suited to those who prefer silence and scale over the busier Lakeland hubs.
View adventure →Classic 2-day ridge weekends
These trips are for people who want two big mountain days without carrying camp kit. There is no camping on these weekends — you arrange your own pub, inn or B&B between days, then return ready for another quality day in the fells.
Striding & Sharp Edge
A high-quality arête weekend linking two of the Lakes’ most recognisable ridge lines. Technical enough to feel exciting, but guided at a steady, well-managed pace.

A superb rocky skyline journey in the central fells, full of character and classic mountain atmosphere. A great option for those wanting a more technical-feeling Lakeland outing without camping.
Find out more →Crinkle Crags & Bowfell
Rugged, rocky ground with a more serious mountain character than many standard Lakeland horseshoes. A strong choice for walkers who enjoy rougher terrain and bigger-feeling days.
